I was on a trip to work on aircraft logistics back in 1983 and was at NAS Miramar — home of F-14 Tomcats and of course Top Gun. I saw this aircraft on the ramp and had to model it.

This is my first go with the F4B. This kit always seemed to be more difficult to get, but I finally got one and it truly is a beautiful aircraft.
