Like most aircraft kits the build always begins with the cockpit. These were no different but there was a huge difference between Arma Hobby and Hasegawa. For starters, there were three times the parts needed for the Arma Hobby kit (12) over the Hasegawa (4), and 2 decals versus just the 1 for Hasegawa.
Painting was easy, just the single major color (Cockpit Green, Tamiya XF-71) with a little aluminum and a little black. I then applied a black wash, let that dry, then added a white dry brushing to highlight all the details.
None of this is likely to be seen given how small the opening is in the cockpit, but I will have the canopy open on the Arma Hobby kits given that’s an option, and they will be closed on the Hasegawa simply because that’s not optional and there isn’t any detail to really see anyway. I did add seatbelts to ensure something was visible.
